NOTICE – CALLED MEETING: April 23rd, 2026

The Haywood County Election Commission will meet in a called session on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 5:00 pm in the Election Office

Agenda:

1. Approval of minutes March 26, 2026
2. Old Business
3. New Business:
   1. June 16, 2026 City of Brownsville Election
      • Lock ballot boxes
      • Approve petitions
      • Poll Worker appointment
   2. Public Comment Policy
   3. Administrator’s report

A public comment sign-up sheet will be available beginning 2 days prior to the meeting until 4:30 p.m. the day of the meeting for any person who wants to provide comments to the HCEC regarding matters that are germane to items on the agenda and on any matter that is germane to the jurisdiction of the Haywood County Election Commission. The sign-up sheet will be posted at the Election Commission Office. We will allow a maximum of 6 people to speak for 3 minutes. The full copy of the Public Comment Policy will be displayed with the sign-up sheet.
