TO THE VOTERS OF THE CITY OF BROWNSVILLE, HAYWOOD COUNTY, TENNESSEE: You are hereby notified that by call of the following petition signed by ten percent (10%) or more of the registered voters in the city casting a ballot for governor in the last gubernatorial election,
a referendum for Wine at Retail Food Stores shall be conducted:

PETITION TO AUTHORIZE THE SALE OF WINE AT RETAIL FOOD STORES IN
THE CITY OF BROWNSVILLE
We, the registered voters of the City of BROWNSVILLE, do hereby request the holding of a local option election to authorize the legal sale of wine at retail food stores in the City of Brownsville as provided by law.
The City of Brownsville will also be conducting an election for the purpose of electing
Alderman Ward 1 and Alderman Ward 3.
Only the voters in the respective wards will be eligible to vote in those races.
EARLY VOTING NOTICE
To all registered voters of the City of Brownsville, Tennessee, Early Voting will be held on the
following days and times for the June 21, 2016 election.

PHOTO ID LAW
Voters who vote in person during early voting or on Election Day must present
a Photo ID issued by the federal or Tennessee state government.

NOTICE FOR ELDERLY VOTERS OR VOTERS WITH DISABILITIES
An elderly voter or voter with a disability whose polling place is inaccessible is
encouraged to vote early or may vote at the Election Commission Office on Election Day.
Voters who intend to vote at the Election Commission Office on Election Day
must notify the commission in writing no later than June 11, 2016.
Absentee by mail requests are due no later than June 14, 2016
