THE TOWN OF STANTON WILL CONDUCT A MUNICIPAL ELECTION ON
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2016, for the following offices:
MAYOR AND (4) ALDERMEN
Petitions may be picked up from the Haywood County Election Commission Office on the lower
level of the Courthouse in Brownsville during regular business hours Monday – Friday from
8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. (closed for lunch 11:30 – 12:30, unless posted otherwise).
The deadline to file the qualifying petition is 12 noon on Thursday, August 18, 2016.
