NOTICE – CALLED MEETING: June 23, 2026

The Haywood County Election Commission will meet in a called session on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 5:00 pm in the Election Office to certify the results of the June 16, 2026, City of Brownsville Municipal Election.

NOTICE: Immediately after the meeting to certify the results, the Haywood County Election Commission will conduct a called meeting for the agenda items below:

Agenda:

1. Minutes approval
2. Old Business
3. New Business:
   1. Registration Inspection – sample registrations
   2. Appoint poll workers August 6, 2026 State Primary & County General
   3. Administrator’s report

A public comment sign-up sheet will be available beginning 2 days prior to the meeting until 4:30 p.m. the day of the meeting for any person who wants to provide comments to the HCEC regarding matters that are germane to items on the agenda and on any matter that is germane to the jurisdiction of the Haywood County Election Commission. The sign-up sheet will be posted on the bulletin board outside the Election Commission Office. We will allow a maximum of 6 people to speak for 3 minutes. The full copy of the Public Comment Policy will be displayed with the sign-up sheet.
