There are 3 Constable positions that will be on the November 4th ballot. Districts 2, 6, 8 have Constable vacancies because no one ran for them in August. However, the deadline to have the candidate’s name to appear on the ballot has passed. The only option at this point is to file the necessary paperwork to be a write-in candidate. The Certification of Write-In Candidacy is due by noon on September 15. A Constable Affidavit must also be filed.
